Good morning and welcome to Friday.
I had some things to get done in the office so instead of working from home, I'm looking out my window across the Walmart parking lot next to our office building. I'd snuck over to the store before coming into the office because I had to get something to eat. This happened because instead of getting up when y alarm went off this morning, I shut it off and went back to sleep.
I appreciated the extra winks, but didn't care for the panic that comes with the realization you need to get moving. Pronto!
Despite my tardiness, I still made it into the office before everyone else and as far as they know, I was here at my regular time.
It's a small victory, but I will still take the win.
